"NIGHT VISION

I used to be afraid of the dark

Where they say bad things lurk

And good girls...do not

Until one day, life turned off all the lights

And left me blind and naked in the night

I lay to rest my princess dreams

And let the moonlight swallow me

There I found, to my surprise

A strange fire dancing behind my eyes

From my tomb,

I learned to fly

A desert rose was born that night."
